TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Yalla Mart (www.yallamart.co).
By accessing or using our Site and Services, you agree to these Terms of Service and all associated policies.
We may update these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

1. ABOUT YALLAMART

Yalla Mart is a Lebanon-based e-commerce marketplace platform that connects enterprise sellers and individual sellers with buyers across Lebanon.
We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or withdraw services at our discretion.

2. ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

For Buyers: 
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must provide a valid delivery address in Lebanon

For Sellers - Business Entities: 
• Commercial Register (السجل التجاري)
• Authorized representative's ID
• Active bank details for settlements
• Proof of business activity

For Sellers - Individuals: 
• Valid Lebanese ID or passport
• Active bank details
• Proof of address

You must provide accurate and complete information.
We may reject or suspend registrations at any time and may conduct verification checks. Certain product categories require additional documentation.

3. YOUR OBLIGATIONS

Account Security: 
• Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

Accuracy of Information: 
• Provide true, accurate, and complete information
• Cooperate with verification and compliance checks
• Update information as needed

4. PROHIBITED CONTENT & ACTIVITIES

You may NOT post, list, or engage in:

Illegal or Harmful Content: 
• Defamatory, obscene, hateful, or privacy-invading content
• Culturally or religiously offensive content
• Content threatening national security or promoting gambling
• Chemicals or hazardous materials
• Items violating Lebanese law or public morals

Prohibited Products in Lebanon: 
• Tobacco and vaping products
• Alcohol
• Weapons, knives, ammunition
• Illegal drugs or medical narcotics
• Counterfeit or stolen items
• Non-transferable vouchers
• Adult content or pornography
• Unlicensed cosmetics or medical devices
• Any unlicensed or restricted products

Platform Misuse: 
• Listing items you do not own
• Manipulating prices or interfering with other sellers
• Circumventing technical protections
• False, misleading, or deceptive content
• Spamming or sending unsolicited messages
• Harvesting user data
• Transferring your account without approval
• Using delivery information to sell outside YallaMart

5. PAYMENT, ORDERS & SETTLEMENTS

Payment Methods: 
• Cash on Delivery (COD)
• Online payments (Visa, Mastercard)
• Payment links (credit/debit)

COD Handling: COD funds collected by delivery companies are remitted to Yalla Mart, then settled with vendors according to the agreed cycle.

Seller Settlements: 
• Sellers are settled monthly
• Settlements include completed, delivered orders only
• Refunds will be deducted from future settlements
• Sellers must provide active bank details

Refunds: Refunds are handled by Yalla Mart subject to seller approval and evaluated case-by-case via WhatsApp support.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All site content including logos, text, graphics, images, and software is owned by Yalla Mart or its licensors.
You may not use our trademarks without written consent.
Any content you provide becomes Yalla Mart's property for operational and compliance purposes.

7. WARRANTIES & REPRESENTATIONS

You represent and warrant that:
• You comply with applicable Lebanese laws and regulations
• You have legal authority to enter these terms
• You are authorized to represent your business entity (if applicable)
• Your listings do not infringe third-party rights
• Products listed are genuine, safe, and legal in Lebanon

Yalla Mart provides Services on an "as is" basis without warranties.
We are not liable for the accuracy of listings or content posted by sellers.

8. LIABILITY & INDEMNITIES

No Limit on Liability for: 
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Personal injury caused by negligence
• Any liability that cannot be limited by Lebanese law

Limited Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yalla Mart is not responsible for:
• Inaccurate content provided by users
• Your inability to use the Services
• Delays, disruptions, or technical errors
• Viruses or malware
• Acts of third parties (delivery companies, sellers, etc.)
• Business losses or data loss

Liability Cap: If we are held liable, our maximum liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

Indemnity: You agree to indemnify Yalla Mart against any claims arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, intellectual property infringements, or posting illegal/defamatory content.

9. SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
• Violate these terms
• Engage in fraudulent behavior
• Misuse the platform
• Provide false or incomplete information
• Abuse COD orders (repeated returns or failed deliveries)
• Harass delivery staff or customer service
• Manipulate listings or pricing

Upon termination, we may delete your data except where required by law.
Pending settlements will be processed after review.
Fraudulent or abusive accounts may forfeit balances.

10. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Returns are handled case-by-case via WhatsApp support.
Refunds are issued only after seller approval.

11. DATA PRIVACY

Yalla Mart voluntarily applies GDPR-style privacy principles including data minimization, secure processing, right to access, and right to correction.

12. GENERAL TERMS

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Lebanese law.

Dispute Resolution: Disputes shall be referred to the Beirut courts exclusively.

Assignment: You may not assign your account or rights without written approval.

Amendments: We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting on the Site.

Force Majeure: Yalla Mart is not liable for events beyond its control (strikes, war, internet outages, natural disasters, etc.).

Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect the rest of the terms.
